SOS Childrenâ€s Villages of India-ChathnathHomes situated in East Tambaram is a home for children in need and care. The Village complex is spread over 5 acres. There are 15 Family Homes. A family home has adequate rooms for the children and mother. Each home has 8-10 children, under the care of a Mother. The Family Home is alive with daily household activities, besides special occasions like birthdays, marriages and festivals. Children adopt the ethos and culture of the Mother .SOS Villages function on four basic principles of a Mother, Brothers and Sisters, The house and The Village.
