Shri V. JAISOORYA hails from Kumbakonam. He started learning BharataNatyam from his young age. He learnt dance from smt.Dharmambal (Disciple of the famous kuthalam Shri RamasamyNattuvanar) for 5 years before the Arangetram. Later, he finished his dancing skills under renowned TajoreKittappaPillai. He established dance school “Anmalaya Natyalayam” in Kumbakonam, and has given 40 programmes between 1983 and 1987. After setting down in Chennai, he is running a dance school named ‘ApoorvaNatyalaya’ with over 100 students and 25 of his students have successfully completed their arangetram under his guidance. 50 of his disciples have completed ‘SalangaiPooja’. He is also conducting classes through ‘Skype’ in the countries like U.S.A., France, Australia and Abudabi.
