Nesakkaram-SEEDS (Street Elfins Education and Development Society) is a child-care organization in Chennai. We are working for and with the street children for over eighteen years. We provide them food and shelter, opportunities to learn and grow, opportunities to dream and the means to achieve them. Nesakkaram recognizes the fact that much of the problems which children face are dependent on their family and parents. Therefore we began to motivate the mothers and making them realise the need for their children's education and development. Thus we formed Women's Groups.
